I've been a classic film fan since childhood when I saw many of them on TV and I'm old enough to have seen quite a few when they were originally released in theaters. I was surely influenced by my dad, who was a big fan of Bogart, Cagney, James Stewart, Myrna Loy, Judy Garland etc. I used to frequent revival houses such as The Regency and The New Yorker in Manhattan. Now I'm fortunate to have access to a video store with a huge selection of classics and the George Eastman House here in Rochester offers superb film programs which often include classic rarities. I find some of the message boards on the IMDb to be good places to exchange opinions and gain information and I'm looking forward to what develops on Classic Luv.

You might be one of the coolest person I've ever had the pleasure of talking to online--to be around when these movies were actually out at the theaters. Movies like 'these' aren't ever going to come back to be seen on the big-screen. The only boards I thoroughly enjoy on imdb have to do with classic films/actors of certain decades (like the ones that can be found here). Other than that, I see more arguments and trolls on imdb than anything else. Welcome to Classic Luv and I hope it is worthy enough.
