This was the first classic film I brought on video nearly 12 years ago and if I had to chose my all time favourite film then it would be this one. It' is one of the best comedies ever made and the whole cast from Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe to Joe E Brown, George Raft and Pat O'Brien play their roles fantastically well. Set during the 20s two Chicago musicians saxophonist Joe (Tony Curtis)and bass player Jerry (Jack Lemmon) witness the St Valentine's Day massacre by gangster Spats Columbo (George Raft). They decide to flee Chicago and join a band but the only one available is an all girl band called "Sweet Sue's All-Girl Orchestra". So Joe becomes Josephine and Jerry becomes Daphne and they are both attracted to the bands singer Sugar Kane (Marilyn Monroe). This film I give 10/10, if you've not seen it yet then why not as it is hilarious and very entertaining from beginning to end. There are soo many funny moments in it that you can't help laughing out loud. ;D Here is the trailer if you have never seen it before: www.imdb.com/rg/VIDEO_PLAY/LINK//video/imdb/vi2371683353/Also it was due to this film and Tony Curtis that I became a fan of Cary Grant because after I saw this I next bought "Operation Petticoat" on video. So just go and buy it you will not regret it
