I'm Nina, 30 year old from Glasgow. My all time favourite actor is Cary Grant who I've been a fan of for nearly 12 years.
I love watching classic and modern films, musicals, costume and TV dramas.
As well as being a fan of Cary I like a number of classic film stars such as William Holden, Howard Keel, Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Judy Garland, Gene Kelly, Rock Hudson and many others.
Modern actors I like are Michael Fassbender, Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix etc.
I love listening to a variety of music especially Frank Sinatra.
Glad to have joined and look forward to chatting to everyone about the classics.

Hi Nina, nice to meet you. I have a feeling we're going to get along famously. Cary Grant is my most favorite classic actor and my second favorite actor of all time. I quite like Rock Hudson myself, but I haven't seen very many of his movies. As it stands, the majority of classics I've seen are CG related. Love your signature quote from Walter.

Thanks Sabrina and it's nice to meet you also. Yes I think your right we will get on fabulously well It's Harrison Ford who is your favourite actor I'm not a huge fan but I don't dislike him and I have seen a couple fo his films which i have liked. I've only seen a few Rock Hudson films myself and my favourites are his romanitc comedies esoecially those with Doris Day. Yes I hah to have a quote from "Father Goose" so chose that one as it's one I like a lot.

Is "Pillow Talk" one of the Rock Hudson/ Doris Day movies you've seen? I rented that some odd months ago. I enjoyed it. Yes, Harrison Ford is my most favorite actor. He'll be 70 this year, still acting and still looking good--bless his heart. There's so many lines from Father Goose that I love. No matter how many times I hear them, they're still funny. I really like Walter too, as you know. He reminds me of a Harrison Ford character so when I see one I think of the other. Same habits/same drinking/both on a island.

Yes I love "Pillow Talk" never get tired of seeing that one.
Your right Harrson does look good for being 70 this year. So what is the film that reminds you of Walter?

"Six Days Seven Nights".
They both have the same kind of personality. They're protective of their things (Walter loves his boat and Quinn loves his plane). They both don't have people in their lives and they seem perfectly fine with that (though they're grouchy). They're both sarcastic as all hell, too. They both look the same--they dress in whatever clothes they have (it doesn't have to match or be stylish). They both have the same scruffy look; the facial hair and the hair on their heads that does whatever it wants when it wants. And they both clean up well (at the end of the movie).
I suppose their love interests in the movies are alike in someways, too. The "Goody Two Shoes"/ "Ms. Perfect" types that they later fall in love with. That whole "Opposites Attract" sort of angle.
